Renovation of a classic apartment in a residential building, characterized by a large hallway, a separate kitchen, a medium-sized living room, and a bedroom.

To achieve a cohesive layout and modern flow between the kitchen and living room — while also creating the desired home office — we removed the existing partition wall, shifted it by 30 cm, and then angled and recessed it by an additional 60 cm. This seemingly small structural adjustment resulted in an exceptional solution.

With this intervention, we opened up a generously designed kitchen with an island table, accommodated a comfortable 280 cm sofa, and created the requested home office. From two original rooms, we formed three functional zones, custom-designed to reflect the visual identity of a modern, youthful apartment.
