House, 110 m², Žminj
We renovated a traditional Istrian stone house located in the central part of Istria.
The existing exterior stone walls were fully preserved, while all interior partition walls were redesigned according to the client’s needs. A large glass wall was introduced in the master bedroom, and the bathroom and walk-in wardrobe were positioned to create a seamless and functional flow between bedroom — wardrobe — bathroom, enhancing both comfort and a sense of luxury.
The house is designed with modern lines; however, the presence of authentic stone retained in selected areas, the use of stone-look ceramics, exposed wooden roof beams, and wooden wall accents preserve rustic elements that create an authentic Istrian atmosphere.
The fusion of modern and traditional design blends harmoniously, resulting in a comfortable living environment for a family — closely connected to nature and the beautiful landscapes of Istria.
